With LoRaWAN we capture measuring points that no cable could ever reach – low-cost, mounted in minutes and with years of battery life. Any type of sensor, any manufacturer. For your energy management and everything beyond it.
LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) transmits small amounts of data over long distances with minimal power consumption. A single gateway covers several kilometres depending on the environment and serves hundreds of sensors at once.
That is exactly what makes it so attractive: where cable runs, wall penetrations and electrician hours used to make every additional measuring point expensive, we simply place a battery-powered radio sensor – and it delivers data into your dashboard from the very first minute.
LoRaWAN dramatically lowers the barrier to additional transparency – both technically and economically.
The most expensive part of conventional metering is the installation. Radio sensors save cable runs, wall penetrations and plant downtime – the cost per measuring point drops sharply.
Mounted in minutes, often without an electrician and without interfering with running processes. No power connection needed – the sensors run autonomously for years.
One gateway covers entire factory sites, multiple buildings or distributed locations. Even basements, shafts and remote installations are reached.
Thanks to the extremely efficient radio standard, batteries last 5 to 10 years depending on the sensor. Minimal maintenance and no wiring effort for power.
We are not tied to any supplier. Sensors of any type and any manufacturer are integrated – and we decode proprietary payload formats too.
Start with one sensor and expand at any time. New measuring points are added without new infrastructure – the gateway carries hundreds of devices.
LoRaWAN captures far more than just consumption data. Energy management and building or process monitoring come together on the same infrastructure.
Read electricity, heat, gas and water meters even where no data line exists
Temperature, humidity and CO₂ in production, office and warehouse – the basis for efficient ventilation and heating
Gap-free monitoring of cold rooms, warehouses and server rooms with alerts on threshold breaches
Remotely monitor fill levels of tanks, silos and containers – reorder in time instead of facing downtime
Water detectors and flow sensors spot leaks early and prevent expensive damage
Capture vibration, runtimes and operating hours – for utilisation and predictive maintenance
Door/window contacts and occupancy sensors for security, heating control and space usage
Track the location and condition of containers, tools and mobile equipment across the entire site
You are not tied to one ecosystem. We choose the sensor that is the best fit economically and technically and bring its data reliably into your platform.
LoRaWAN is not an end in itself. We use it precisely where it is the most economical solution.
Where a stable data line and a high-frequency measuring requirement already exist, a wired connection via Modbus, M-Bus or OPC-UA is often the better choice. We deliver that too – see Hardware & Measurement.
The advantage with us: we are vendor-neutral and protocol-independent. We recommend the solution that makes the most sense for your site – often a combination of radio and cable.
We take a look at your site and tell you which sensors are the most cost-effective to capture via LoRaWAN.
